After breakfast drive to Alleppey. Alleppey is known as the Venice of the East has a largest network of Canals and is a centre for backwater cruises in Kerala. On arrival check in to Houseboat. Cruise around backwater villages of Alleppey. You can cruise through small narrow canals, lakes & lagoons see traditional fishing, farming below sea level etc., which will help you to catch a brief memorable picture of Kerala backwaters. Overnight stay in Houseboat.
After breakfast drive to Thekkady - the Wildlife destination of Kerala. It is also known as the spice bag of the state. Enroute visit Spice Plantations where you can see crops of Cardamom, Cinnamon, Pepper, Coffee, Tea etc.; pick up some fragrant spices or handcrafted jewellers. Arrive Thekkady and check in at hotel. Early morning visit Periyar wildlife sanctuary. Go for a 2 hours boating in Periyar lake and spot animals on banks of the lake. Back to hotel for breakfast. Later proceed towards Munnar. A scenic journey past mist capped mountains, spice plantations and open grasslands lined with spectacular waterfalls & delightful trekking trails form the access to your hide way here. Munnar offers spectacular views of the craggy peaks, manicured tea plantations, picturesque towns and winding lanes. Arrive and check in at hotel. Later visit Echo Point famous for its Echo Phenomenon & Kundale Lake. Also visit Mattupetty Lake & Dam. One can go for boating at Mattupetty Lake. Evening back to hotel. Night stay in Munnar.
Early morning breakfast after which drive to Eravikulam National Park, the home of Nilgiri Thar. Also visit Anamudi peak situated at an altitude of 2695 m above sea level in the southern region of this park. Afternoon visit Tea Factory & Museum. Evening check out local market or spend time at your own leisure. Overnight stay in Munnar.
