Bodhi Pilgrimage Tour Package – 07 Nights / 08 Days
Day 01: Gaya Airport / Railway Station – Bodhgaya Hotel
Meet & Greet on arrival at Gaya Airport / Railway Station and transfer to Bodhgaya, the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage site. On arrival, check into the hotel. In the evening, visit the Mahabodhi Temple and Bodhi Tree. Attend evening prayers and experience the peaceful spiritual atmosphere. Overnight stay at Bodhgaya.
Day 02: Bodhgaya Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for full-day sightseeing of Bodhgaya. Visit Mahabodhi Temple (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Great Buddha Statue, Sujata Temple and various international monasteries. Spend the day in spiritual reflection. Overnight stay at Bodhgaya.
Day 03: Bodhgaya – Rajgir – Nalanda (95 Km / 3 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Rajgir. Visit Vishwa Shanti Stupa (Peace Pagoda), Griddhakuta Hill (Vulture’s Peak) and hot springs. Later proceed to Nalanda to visit the ancient Nalanda University ruins, a major center of Buddhist learning. Return to Bodhgaya or stay in Rajgir. Overnight stay.
Day 04: Rajgir – Vaishali – Patna (240 Km / 6 Hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Vaishali, an important Buddhist site where Lord Buddha delivered his last sermon. Visit Ashokan Pillar and Relic Stupa. Later continue to Patna. On arrival, check into the hotel. Overnight stay at Patna.
Day 05: Patna – Kushinagar (350 Km / 7 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Kushinagar, where Lord Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana. On arrival, check into the hotel. In the evening, visit Mahaparinirvana Temple and Rambhar Stupa. Overnight stay at Kushinagar.
Day 06: Kushinagar – Lumbini (Nepal) (170 Km / 4 Hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Lumbini (Nepal), the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Visit Maya Devi Temple, Ashokan Pillar and sacred garden areas. Experience a deeply spiritual atmosphere. Overnight stay at Lumbini.
Day 07: Lumbini – Sarnath (280 Km / 7 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Sarnath, where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. On arrival, check into the hotel. Visit Dhamek Stupa, Ashokan Pillar and Sarnath Museum. Overnight stay at Sarnath.
Day 08: Sarnath – Varanasi Airport / Railway Station
