Enticing Kanha & Pachmari

FIRST DAY - Arrive Pipariya (55 Kms/1 Hr)/Bhopal (215 Kms/4.5 Hrs)/Nagpur (275 Kms/5 Hrs) – Pachmarhi

Arrive at Pipariya / Bhopal & depart to Pachmarhi. Arrival & check in to hotel. Pachmarhi is widely known as Satpura ki Rani (Queen of Satpura) in Madhya Pradesh as well known for the Pachmarhi Cantonment. It is located at a height of 1000 m in a valley of the Satpura Range in Hoshangabad district. Arrive and check in at hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Pachmarhi.

SECOND DAY - Pachmarhi Local Sightseeing

After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing tour covering Handi Khoh - Pachmarhi's most impressive ravine has a 300 feet high precipice and spectacularly sheer sides. Priyadarshini Point - Also known as Forsyth Point was named after Captain James Forsyth who discovered Pachmarhi from this point. Witnessing the spectacular sunset views from this vantage point, when the three peaks - Chauradeo, Mahadeo and Dhupgarh. Gupt Mahadev - Idols of Lord Ganesha and Shiva lingam have been enshrined in this 40 feet long cave. Bada Mahadev - This famous holy place is about 10 kms from Pachmarhi. This memorial has a link with the killing of the demon king Bhasmasur by Lord Shiva. Pachmarhi Lake- located just 400 Meters from Jaistambha. Amusements like boating, camel & horse rides, toy motorbikes are available here. Back to hotel in evening. Overnight stay at Pachmarhi.

THIRD DAY - Pachmarhi Local Sightseeing

After Breakfast proceed for the local sightseeing of Pachmarhi covering Jata Shankar – This is a sacred cave under a mass of loose rocks in which the Jambu Dwip stream has its source. A rocky structure of this place look likes the matted locks of Lord Shiva, Dhoopgarh - The uppermost point in the Satpura range, a very popular spot for viewing sunsets with a wonderful view of the surrounding ranges. Pandav Caves - At present these protected monuments are five ancient dwellings excavated in the sandstone rock in a low hill. The name Pachmarhi derives from these caves which, as the legend goes, once provided shelter to the five Pandav brothers. Reechgarh - a cave-like entrance on the South-side is a wonderful natural amphitheater in the rock. Later visit Parasailing Point to enjoy parasailing (Optional) at Dhoopgarh. Overnight stay at Pachmarhi.

FOURTH DAY - Pachmarhi – Kanha National Park (330 Kms/6 Hrs)

After breakfast drive to Kanha. Arrive and check in at hotel. Kanha is one of the best wildlife experiences in India and renowned for its Tigers and Swamp Deer (Barasingha) Population. The park offers rich diversity of flora and fauna and renowned for its Migratory Bird watching in winter. Spend the rest of day at your own leisure. Night stay at Kanha.

FIFTH DAY - Kanha National Park

Early morning breakfast after which proceed for Jeep Safari at Kanha National Park to sight wildlife. Experience the thrill of coming across a tiger roaming freely in the wilderness of its natural habitat. Other species like leopards, wild dogs, wild cats, foxes and jackals can also be spotted in the jungle. Among the deer species Swamp Deer or Hard Ground Barasingha is pride of the place as it is the only sub species of swamp deer in India. Enjoy morning and evening safari in the national park. Overnight stay in Kanha.

SIXTH DAY - Kanha – Nagpur Departure (250 kms/4 Hrs)

After breakfast proceed to Airport/Railway station for onwards journey with sweet memories.
